Getting Dressed

A black and white charcoal drawing on gray paper of two Aboriginal trans people getting dressed together, smiling, and laughing. The man is slipping a packer into his undergarments and the woman is adding a small amount of stuffing to her bra. Intended to convey a sense of community, this drawing invites the viewer to adopt the perspective many of us already hold, in which being transgender, and therefore affirming one's sense of gender, is completely normal and is an everyday part of life.
